Meet our doctors and other care providers
Medical Oncologist
Your medical oncologist monitors the traditional medical focus of your treatment plan. From presenting treatment options to monitoring your physical health, your medical oncologist works with your care team to make sure your treatments are working together and that your medical goals are being achieved.
Onco Surgeon
Your surgeon focuses on treating cancer with surgical intervention. Your surgical oncologist may be called in to diagnose cancer with a biopsy. Surgical oncologists also treat cancer by removing tumors or other cancerous tissue.
Radiation oncologist
This cancer specialist treats cancer with radiation therapy. Radiation therapy treats cancer by using high-energy waves to kill tumor cells. The goal is to destroy or damage the cancer without hurting too many healthy cells.
Ayurvedic Oncology
Ayurvedic medicine uses natural and non-toxic herbal therapies to create a healthy environment both inside and outside your body. Your Ayurvedic expert focuses on ayurvedic remedies to assist with overcoming the side effects, boosting your immune system, supporting normal metabolism and improving your overall quality of life.
YOGA Expert (Mind-Body Therapist)
We believe treatment goes beyond traditional medicine, as your psychological and emotional well-being may impact healing. Your mind-body therapist is available to assist with individual, couples and family counseling, as well as relaxation, laughter therapy and other ways to heal your mind, body and spirit.
Clinical Oncology Dietitian
Good nutrition is essential to keeping you strong as you go through cancer treatment. Your dietitian will create a personalized nutrition plan, focus on managing side effects, recommend supplements to improve your use of calories and help find foods your body can tolerate during treatment.
Patient Care Manager
When you come to our hospital, we’ll assign a care manager to be your point of contact throughout treatment. Your care manager will be there 24/7 to help with appointment scheduling, connecting with your doctors and whatever else you may need.
Depending on your case, you may also need to see other types of doctors for special cancer care. For instance, you may need to see a hematologist, who specializes in treating disorders of the blood, bone marrow, and lymph nodes. You might need to see a plastic surgeon if you need reconstructive surgery after treatment. You might also wish to see a psychiatrist or a psycho-oncologist, a psychiatrist who specializes in the psychological challenges of coping with cancer.
